In continuation of his lifelong commitment to forge meaningful connection and to bring people and communities together while giving back to charitable causes through his art and music, Ringo Starr has unveiled a collection of 500 life sized Peace and Love sculptures of his iconic hand symbol to be sold exclusively on juliensauctions.com. The statues will go on sale just in time for the holiday season starting November 22nd with all of the proceeds to benefit The Lotus Foundation, whose mission funds supports, participates in and promotes charitable projects aimed at advancing social welfare in diverse areas including, but not limited to substance abuse, cerebral palsy, brain tumors, cancer, battered women and their children, homelessness, and animals in need.

It’s been over five decades since Ringo Starr made the universally recognized hand gesture of Peace and Love as his signature greeting and enduring message to the world: a transmission of positivity and light that the legendary musician has sent off across the universe through his landmark musical catalog as a solo artist, Beatle and frontman of his All Starr Band; his synchronous goodwill exchanges with millions of his fans in person, online, and on stage in arenas around the world; his highly anticipated annual Peace and Love Birthday global celebrations featuring a star-studded lineup of musical friends and family; the erection of an 800 pound stainless steel monument of his hand symbol in his adopted hometown of Beverly Hills, California as well as through his paintings, books, photography and other works. Two hundred fifty stainless steel and 250 bronze original numbered limited edition “Peace and Love” artworks designed and signed by the icon will each come with a Certificate of Authenticity housed in a Ringo Peace & Love box. Each statue is 9.84 inches tall with a 4.72 inch base and weighs 3.5 pounds. The stainless-steel statue is $5,000 and the bronze statue is $2,000, both versions include shipping.

The announcement comes this Thanksgiving week and for Starr fans there is a lot to be grateful for. This year has been busy for the rocker and continues through the end of the year. On November 18th, Starr released EP3 on 10-inch vinyl and blue cassette. He accompanied the release with a new music video, “Everyone and Everything.” On November 25th, Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band Live at the Greek 2019 is available on Blu-ray, DVD, CD and a special yellow double vinyl. In addition, Starr’s online store has recently been updated and is now carrying a limited quantity of tour merch.
